Personal Training Consultation
The initial personal training consultation is a one to one discussion about your current lifestyle, medical and exercise history, taking measurements of your height, weight and blood pressure, identifying your goals and making them SMART. We will also discuss your likes and dislikes with regards to physical activity and if there is anything that may be a barrier for you in achieving changes to your physical activity levels.
If all has gone well and you are happy to proceed, we can then look at completing the consultation with a fitness assessment (see Red Fit for more details) so that I can collect more information to enhance your programme further. This stage requires some exertion on your part and will require you to wear suitable clothing that you are comfortable to move around in, but it will all be explained before proceeding and you can opt out at any time.
With all this information gathered, I can then prescribe a programme for you that we are both happy with and which helps you achieve your goals in a realistic timeframe.
Once this has been done, we can put the programme into practice, either using single sessions or purchasing a bundle of sessions and cementing your motivation to continue further.
